Internationally, TanguerIN Studio maintains relationships with a great number of artists, organizers and promoters of events related to tango. On various occasions, TanguerIN Studio has cooperated with some of the biggest tango festivals in the world, including the Buenos Aires Tango Festival, the Istanbul International Tango Festival and the OsteTango festival in Switzerland.
Nowadays TanguerIN has grown to be something more than a club - it is a informal community of people who love argentine tango and are interested in dance both as an art form and a means of expression and communication.
THE TANGUERIN TEAM Ivo & Nadia Ivo Parushev and Nadia Assenova are experienced dancers of argentine tango and founders of TanguerIN Studio. Through their activities they share with others their love for tango and try to promote its unique spirit and culture.
When Ivo and Nadia met they both shared a common irresistible passion for the argentine tango. They started dancing as a couple in the beginning of 2004 and in their development
as tango dancers have mutually benefited from their different
backgrounds. In
the middle of 2004 they started to perform at corporate
parties, and show events in Bulgaria. They have danced in Sofia,
Burgas, Plovdiv, Russe, Pleven and have participated in concerts with
the Philharmonic Orchestras of Ruse and Plovdiv. In October 2004 they
were invited
as choreography consultants for the staging of Chekhov's "Seagull" at
the "Off The Channel Theatre" in Sofia. Since february 2005 Ivo and
Nadia have been teaching argentine tango at the National Academy for
Theatre and Film Arts (NATFIZ). Ivo and Nadia have also appeared on most major TV channels in Bulgaria. At the end of 2007 they were invited as teachers and consultants in the second edition of the TV show Dance With Me by the biggest Bulgarian TV channel BTV.
Ivo first came across the music of argentine tango in 1994 while he
was a student at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Since
then, he has been collecting, listening to and studying the
music of various classic and contemporary tango orchestras and
musicians. In 2000 he finally dared to learn dancing his favourite music. Shortly, the dancing of "tango argentino" became his obsession motivating him to use every opportunity to practice and take
lessons anywhere he could. His first trip to Buenos Aires
in 2003 proved to be a turning point for him and unleashed a strong
inspiration for dancing and mastering the tango in all of its forms and
styles. Apart from being a devoted dancer Ivo is a keen tango DJ. He is selecting the music for Studio TanguerIN's regular milongas in Sofia and has been invited as DJ to various milongas and tango festivals in Europe, including the Tangobar milonga in Vienna, the milonga El Falcone in Zurich, various milongas in Basel, the International Istanbul Tango Festival, the Tango Nuevo Week in Istanbul, the OsterTango Festival in Switzerland, the Alghero Tango Festival in Italy and many others.
Nadia started her dance training at the age of 4 with figure skating and ballet. A few years later she discovered her
passion for the ballroom dancing. During her 10 years experience as an
active competitor in both latin american and standard dancing she worked to develop motion versatility and to master body
performance and expression. Her fist argentine tango class in the
beginning of 2003, awakened in her an insatiable interest for the melancholic
and romantic style of this unique dance. PICTURES OF IVO AND NADIAVIDEOS OF IVO AND NADIA
